Clogged Toilet/Toilet Not Draining Well

If your toilet is overflowing, turn off the water supply to the tank. The water intake pipe comes from the floor into the tank. Turn the valve to off. Then try dislodging the clog using a plunger. If that doesn't work, call us.

If you have to plunge your toilet frequently there may be something stuck in the trap or further down the drainpipe that is preventing proper drainage. Don't wait until you've got an emergency on your hands and water all over your floor. Call 401-270-2900. We WILL get your toilet working again.

Poor Flushing

There could be a few reasons your toilet is no longer flushing well. The holes under the rim that allow water into the bowl could be clogged. Usually a homeowner can fix this on their own with a bit of wire. It could also be a problem with the water supply to the toilet. Over long periods of time, deposits can form in pipes. We can replace old pipes to improve water pressure.

Leaking Toilet

A leaking toilet can waste up to 200 gallons of water a day. There are many possible causes for toilet leaks, including a leaky supply line, a leak in one of the five seals (including the plastic flange underneath the toilet, which can leak water underneath your flooring), a problem with the ballcock assembly, or a crack in the bowl or the tank.

If you suspect you have a leaky toilet, try adding a few drops of food coloring into the tank at the back of the toilet. Check back 10 minutes later to see if there is any colored water in the toilet basin. If so, call us.

Time for a New Toilet?

If your toilet was manufactured before 1994, you're flushing more than water down the drain every day; you're flushing money. New low-flow, duel-flush toilets can use less than a gallon per flush whereas old standard toilets use 3.5 gallons per flush. We install new toilets.

If you are having trouble finding a toilet to fit your space, ask us for help. We offer complete bathroom remodeling services. We work with many manufacturers and can find one that will work for you. Call 401-270-2900 when you need plumbing repair.
